We live in a society that screams take of your animals, spay and neuter those pets but for the poor it's an impossibility. To adopt a dog from the pound, saving it from death requires any where from $70 to $150 and around $300 to have one spayed or neutered. and this is in our small community, so I can only imagine what the cost is in big cities.
With all of these animal advocates no one seems to actually be interested in the animals only the money they can get from these animals. If the animals aren't bringing in money then they are put to death. and this is one of the reason why we need to do something about all of these breeders and pet stores.
Hopefully one day we will be able to help these animals with more than just word of mouth, and will be able to build a kill-free shelters across America. the photos you see above are just a few of the pets I have taken in, who were left on the streets to die. It blows my mind how many people will drop their pets off in a parking lot thinking that some one will take them in the truth is 99% of these pets are either run over or they starve to death.
